Themes suggested by Organizing Committee

The Organizing Committee suggests some general themes for papers. However, proposals do not need to be limited entirely to these suggestions. Proposals do need to have discussions relevant to monetary problems in the Balkans and Europe. The committee suggests the following directions:

  1. Monetary and Financial Economics
  2. International Economics and International Political Economy
  3. Economic History and History of Economic Thought
  4. Management & Marketing

ABSTRACT AND PAPER SUBMISSION

  • Proposals should be submitted in English through the Online submission system no later than September 17th
  • Should you experience any problems with the Online submission system you may send your application forms to mrc@unwe.bg
  • Approval of the proposal will be sent by September 17th
  • Completed papers should be sent to mrc@unwe.bg by December 15th
  • The abstract and the complete paper must be attached as a Word document
  • The abstract should be between 300 and 500 words.
  • The complete paper must be no more than 20 pages.
  • The abstract should be submitted in accordance with the attached Model Submission (Abstract) file.

  • Papers will be published on the website of the MRC Papers or in the Economic Alternatives Journal (the University Journal)
  • Publications on the website of the MRC will have the ISBN or ISSN number as well as the editorial review!
